Identity of the workspace. Shown to people you invite and on exported reports.

Languages

These languages apply to content, automations, and reports — survey wording, message templates and generated report text. They do not change the language of this administration interface.

There is no user-interface language setting anywhere in Foxie. The staff UI is English only. What you set here is the language the recipients of your surveys and reports see. Caption invented
Used when a contact has no language of their own.
Content can be authored in each of these in addition to the primary language.

Security

How people get into this organisation, and how they prove who they are.

Allow organisation join requests
People with an email on your domain can ask to join. Requests land in the Join requests tab for approval.
Enforce SSO
Require every member to sign in through the identity provider below. Password sign-in is switched off for everyone.
SSO provider
Enabled only while Enforce SSO is on.

Legacy defect fixed here

In the legacy application neither settings tab has a Save button — every control, including Enforce SSO and Allow organisation join requests, appears to persist the moment it is touched, with no confirmation and no way back. This page adds an explicit Save, a dirty state, Discard changes, an unsaved-changes guard when you leave the tab, and a confirmation on Enforce SSO that names the members it would lock out.

What each role can do Invented

Legacy exposes three role names but was never exercised with a lower-privileged account, so the capability lines below are invented, not observed. They are stated here because a role vocabulary that means nothing is worse than one that is wrong out loud.

Legacy defect fixed here

Legacy's queue reads “1 request pending” above a single row that is already Approved, with an empty user cell and no approve or reject control anywhere — while the organisation policy that feeds the queue is Disabled. Here the pending count counts rows that are actually pending, pending rows carry working Approve and Reject, decided rows show who decided and when, and the tab says so when the policy has closed the queue.

Email provider

Feedback requests are sent from a connected mailbox, not from a Foxie address.

Sender details

Used as the From name in emails. Use [signature] in templates to include your signature. If unset, it is left blank.

A rich-text field. Bold, italic, links and bullet lists are kept when the signature is placed into a message template.

Hi Sophie,

We would value ten minutes of your view on how the collaboration has gone this half-year. The survey is five questions.

The From name comes from the two name fields; the address comes from the connected mailbox and cannot be edited — see below.

What sending identity does not include

This is legacy's actual shape, not an omission in the prototype. Sending identity in Foxie is exactly “the connected Gmail account, plus a display name”. Everything below is absent from the product — there is no screen for it and no stored state behind it.

  • No from-address field. The address is whatever the connected mailbox is.
  • No reply-to. Replies go to the connected mailbox, wherever that is.
  • No sending domain. Nothing is sent on your own domain's behalf.
  • No SPF, DKIM or DMARC. No verification state exists anywhere in the product.
  • No per-automation sender override. One sender for everything.
  • No test-send. Added above as an invented control — the cheapest of the six, and the one whose absence bites daily.
Deliverability is invisible in this product. Nothing in Foxie can tell you whether a feedback request reached an inbox, a spam folder, or was rejected at the gateway.

Available

The connection registry. Connecting opens the provider's own consent screen.

Activated· connections that exist right now
Two Gmail connections exist under different owners. Only one of them actually sends: the recipient sees that mailbox's address, and replies land in that person's inbox. Legacy lists both without saying which. The Default for sending marker below answers it. Marker invented

Your profile

Applies to your own account only.

Same select, same vocabulary, as the Edit user dialog on the Users tab.
Legacy defect fixed. In legacy this same setting is a free-text input holding the raw value english here, and a proper select in the Edit user dialog — whose own label claims “only English at the moment” while offering Swedish and Finnish. One select, one vocabulary, in both places.

Connect to accounts

Linking an identity lets you sign in with it. The same linkage appears as the SSO column on the Users tab.

Notification topics

The complete list is two topics. This is the only notification surface in the whole application.

The two halves are reverse-shaped. Legacy has subscriptions but no inbox and no bell — nowhere for a notification to land. The prototype has a bell in the top bar with a hard-coded badge of 2, wired to nothing, with no subscription model behind it. This page supplies the subscription model the badge needs; the inbox it should open is still unbuilt in both.
Per-topic delivery channel is Invented — legacy has no channel choice. A subscription with no delivery channel is precisely what leaves you with a badge nobody built an inbox for.

Exports

Organisation-level data that leaves Foxie.

Raw response export
Every standardised answer row, per survey and period, as CSV. Built on the Reporting page.

CSV import retention Invented

Legacy keeps every uploaded CSV file indefinitely — the raw upload, contact rows and all, sits in storage forever with no screen that lists it and no way to delete it. There is no retention control anywhere in the product; this one is invented so the question is at least asked.
